The Children of Kibera Foundation

Kibera is one of the largest slums in Africa. The high level of poverty comes along with problems such as a high incidence of HIV and other diseases, and many orphans. There are schools that do not have enough teachers, and there are not even enough schools. The challenge for the Children of Kibera Foundation is to try to remedy that situation by improving the educational opportunities for all young people in Kibera and to try to break the cycle of poverty they have been born into by giving them a quality education.

Support the children of Kibera. Please make a donation today at childrenofkibera.org
